PIERRE, S.D. \u2013 The South Dakota Department of Tourism has been awarded a Bronze Telly Award for work done in conjunction with Brand USA. The award-winning work is a video featuring Custer State Park that was produced by Miles Marketing Destinations and part of the Department\u2019s 2016 participation in Brand USA\u2019s Great Outdoors campaign.<\/p>\n

\u201cAll of the videos that were produced as part of the Brand USA marketing program have been phenomenal, and we\u2019re pleased to see this one for Custer State Park receive this recognition,\u201d said James Hagen, Secretary of the Department of Tourism.<\/p>\n

Brand USA, the destination marketing organization responsible for promoting the United States as a vacation destination, has been focusing much of their marketing on the country\u2019s great outdoors in 2016. The campaign is meant to celebrate the National Park Service centennial, as well as all of the other outdoor opportunities this country has to offer. The Department of Tourism\u2019s partnership in the campaign includes custom videos, custom content and featured photos on the Brand USA website, and inclusion in social media promotions.<\/p>\n
