U.S. citizen, U.S. lawful permanent resident, Canadian citizen, Canadian landed immigrant, or Mexican citizen applicants can now complete one application and receive access to all modes of travel into the United States.<img src=\"https:\/\/www.cbp.gov\/sites\/default\/files\/u483\/GE_Logo_Black%26Blue.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Global Entry<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Global Entry is a U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) program that allows expedited clearance for pre-approved, low-risk travelers upon arrival in the United States.<\/li>\n<li>Though intended for frequent international travelers, there is no minimum number of trips necessary to qualify for the program.<\/li>\n<li>Participants may enter the United States by using automated kiosks located at select airports.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How Does the Global Entry Program Work&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At airports, program participants proceed to Global Entry kiosks, present their machine-readable passport or U.S. permanent resident card, place their fingertips on the scanner for fingerprint verification, and make a customs declaration.<\/li>\n<li>The kiosk issues the traveler a transaction receipt and directs the traveler to baggage claim and the exit.<\/li>\n<li>Travelers must be pre-approved for the Global Entry program.<\/li>\n<li>All applicants undergo a rigorous background check and interview before enrollment.<\/li>\n<li>While Global Entry&#8217;s goal is to speed travelers through the process, members may be selected for further examination when entering the United States.<\/li>\n<li>Any violation of the program&#8217;s terms and conditions will result in appropriate enforcement action and revocation of the traveler&#8217;s membership privileges.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>MEMBER RESPONSIBILITIES <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0You are responsible for maintaining up-to-date personal information in your Global Online Enrollment System account.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0This includes any changes to your address, passport or immigration status. \u2022<\/li>\n<li>Changes in any documents that you used to establish your Global Entry account, such as your passport can be updated online in your Global Online Enrollment System, or GOES, account.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0\u00a0Changes to immigration status must be made in person with appropriate documentation at a Global Entry Enrollment Center.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>PENALTIES FOR PROGRAM VIOLATIONS <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All travelers, including Global Entry members, are subject to full and random examinations by CBP officers upon entering the U.S.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>If you violate any condition of Global Entry or any law or regulation of the U.S., officers may:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Revoke your Global Entry privileges;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Seize any undeclared goods;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Issue penalties;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Start criminal prosecution;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Initiate any other legal proceedings as appropriate.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" alignright\" src=\"\/\/onemileatatime.img.boardingarea.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/GEfromCBP.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"415\" height=\"276\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" alignleft\" src=\"\/\/infinitelegroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/Global-Entry-Kiosk.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"404\" height=\"272\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>HOW TO USE A GLOBAL ENTRY KIOSK<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Verify your identification<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Members must use a passport or U.S. legal permanent resident card at Global Entry kiosk<\/li>\n<li>The Global Entry kiosk will show you the correct way to slide your machine-readable passport into the passport reader.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0After your data displays, remove passport and look up at the camera.<\/li>\n<li>The kiosk will then prompt you to press four fingers on your right or left hand on the fingerprint scanner to verify your Global Entry membership against the biometrics stored in the database.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Declare goods <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. The kiosk will then display a customs declaration screen. All travelers entering the U.S., including Global Entry members, must complete a declaration.<\/p>\n<p>With Global Entry, you do not need to complete the paper Customs Declaration form 6059B before arrival.<\/p>\n<p>2. Touch YES or NO to answer each declaration question. You must declare all goods purchased, received as gifts or repaired or altered while abroad.<\/p>\n<p>3. You must declare if you are carrying currency of more than $10,000 U.S. or a foreign equivalent, in cash or monetary instruments such as travelers\u2019 checks or money orders.<\/p>\n<p>For your declaration you may use the Global Entry kiosk, but the kiosk will direct you to use the regular inspection lane where you will be required to declare to a CBP officer and complete a currency\/ monetary instrument report form.<\/p>\n<p>4. If your imports exceed the personal exemption amount allowed, you may use a Global Entry kiosk, but the kiosk will print a receipt directing you to the regular inspection line.<\/p>\n<p>5. You must declare any fruits, vegetables, plants, insects, meats or meat products, dairy products, animals or animals\/wildlife products, disease agents, cell cultures, snails, or soil.<\/p>\n<p>If you have visited a farm\/ranch\/pasture outside the United States, please let the CBP officer know.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Confirm flight information<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. When flight information displays, if correct touch YES. If incorrect, touch NO and provide airline, flight number and city of departure.<\/p>\n<p>2. Touch NEXT button on each screen to continue.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Take receipt and proceed<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. The kiosk will dispense a paper receipt. Take the receipt, show it to the CBP officer assigned to the exit control point.<\/p>\n<p>2.
