The 2015 National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame induction ceremony will be<\/em> held Friday, Aug. 7 at Fasig-Tipton in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. The event will begin at 10:30 a.m. and is open to the public free of charge.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Sculptures<\/strong>– You will also enjoy here various\u00a0 sculptures coming nearly about 70 capturing your imagination with their the beauty, athleticism and spirit of the Thoroughbred in various media by artists such as June Harrah, Herbert Haseltine, Harry LaMontagne, Marilyn Newmark, Eleanor Iselin Wade and John Skeaping as well.<\/p>\n

Paintings- <\/strong>You will get interested to know that the museum having collection coming nearly 300 paintings highlighting each aspect of the sport and history of Thoroughbred racing as well.<\/p>\n

Photographs- You will find here in the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame along with its collection of nearly 15,000 photographs relating to the sport of Thoroughbred racing.<\/p>\n

Highlighted collections within the National Museum of Racing’s Photography Collection include:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Charles Hatton Photograph Collection:<\/strong> Photographs compiled by the famous turf writer and organized by horse name, from the late-nineteenth century to the 1960s.<\/p>\n

Bill Mochon Photograph Collection:<\/strong>\u00a0 Collection of photographs featuring the California racing circuit from the 1970s to the present<\/p>\n
