You will love the National Museum of Dance & Hall of Fame founded in 1986 with its status of being the sole museum in the nation and one of the few in the world exclusively being dedicated entirely to dance.

\nYou will find it being located in the in the former Washington Bathhouse, the historic building in the Saratoga Spa State Park. You will appreciate the Museum’s archives having numerous collection of photographs, videos, costumes, documents, biographies and artifacts honoring all forms of dance throughout history as well.<\/p>\n

You will also find here a Resource Room, having numerous books, periodicals, and print items for dance research.<\/p>\n

Moreover, the building’s numerous galleries hold various yearly rotating exhibits and three permanent exhibits like the Mr. and Mrs. Cornelius Vanderbilt Whitney Hall of Fame.<\/p>\n

You might be interested to know that this museum also has the campus having the Lewis A. Swyer Studios, a building functioning exclusively for the purpose of keeping live dance as part of the Museum’s offerings.<\/p>\n
