It is interesting to note that since 2008, the Chinese communities across the D.C. area have been celebrating the Chinese New Year at the annual D.C. Chinese New Year Festival. It is being conducted each year on a day in January, and the D.C. Chinese New Year Festival takes place at Luther Jackson Middle School in Washington, D.C. along with the promptcharters.com
