SeaWorld’s got a summer full of good times and good vibrations ready to roll as the park transforms after dark with extended hours, exciting live entertainment in the park’s Mission Bay Theater, seasonal nighttime-only animal shows and fireworks! SeaWorld is open late starting May 28, and the party really kicks into high gear June 25 when Summer Vibes reverberate throughout the park.
Summertime is the best time at SeaWorld, as guests can enjoy all of their park favorites by day – including Dolphin Days, the One Ocean Shamu show, the Shark Encounter, Manta and more – then, stick around for a whole new park after dark, with the amazing energy of Shamu’s Celebration: Light Up The Night and the hilarious Sea Lions Tonite sea lion and otter show. Celebrate the Wonder fireworks are a sizzling way to cap off the evening (On Independence Day, SeaWorld will present a special extended “Sea to Shining Sea 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular” at 9:30 PM).
In addition to amazing animal shows and attractions, the park will reverberate with incredible human performances during SeaWorld’s Summer Vibes presented by Coca-Cola. Three international variety acts will bring their amazing talents to the park’s Mission Bay Theater on select dates June 25-August 14. In the plaza just outside the theater, guests can be part of the good vibrations during a nighttime party atmosphere pumping with dancing, fun lights and a DJ spinning Top 40 hits.
Also, returning this summer is the favorite daytime show Cirque de la Mer, featuring acrobats, hand balancers, aerialists and trapeze artists all performing on and over Mission Bay. New this year is North American championship competitor Jake Orel on the Flyboard, a jetpack that lifts him out of the water, allowing him to dive, jump and do freestyle moves.
