The Museum of African American History is New England’s largest museum dedicated to preserving, conserving and interpreting the contributions of African Americans.
The museum along with its historic sites and two Black Heritage Trails narrate before you the story of organized black communities during Colonial Period through the 19th century.
The activities here are of three types- Exhibits, programs, and education. It is in fact the showcasing of the yesteryear activities of the black families and their multifaceted lives in the form of worship, educating children, specimen of great art, and their incessant labour for political move for freedom.
