You might be interested to enjoy the 62-acre gardens along with its 24 collections, having the Wong Chuk, a prime stand of Chinese royal bamboo, Victoria water lilies and Asian snake arums for that matter.
You can also see here the garden, located near Lake Kanapaha, having the Southeast’s largest herb garden and Florida’s largest public display of bamboos, as well.
Moonlight Walk: May 2 (7pm-11pm) 2015
You will love the Kanapaha’s Moonlight Walk with its magical appeal with its twinkle lights, lanterns, and approximately 1500 luminaries along a 1.25 mile walkway.
You can enjoy here the live entertainment and the Alachua Astronomy Club will be out with telescopes to view the cosmos.
Fed Food Company and Dominos will be out selling food and refreshments!
Feel free to bring out a blanket or lawn chairs. Fourteen dollars for adults, $7 for children ages three to thirteen.
