Iditarod National Historic Trail will engage you with its network of trails coming nearly to 2,300 miles between Nome, on the Bering Strait, and Seward, near Anchorage along with the promptbuscharters.com
Its history is that these were earlier used by the ancient hunters and later by gold prospectors, as well. Now, these are being used by the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race. Although it is primarily a winter trail, hikers do use sections during the summer months.
